The Start Of My Journey

I spoke to a gentleman called Rich Abram from LGV Training Bristol on the day I was made redundant, My dad lent me the money and I booked the course there and then and booked the test for Monday the 30th December and Trained me over the Saturday & Sunday and the Monday Morning, unfortunately I got 1 serious on the test for going a bit too fast around a junction, Rich was really supportive about it all and I though hey mistakes happen I was nervous and on edge, so we rebooked to do the test the week after and I passed, it felt like a weight off my shoulders and I don’t think I could of done it without Rich’s experience and help I still use the techniques he showed me, He did not only teach me how to pass my test he taught me how to drive a lorry, when I mentioned about how to use the heavy retarder and when to use it he got me to go up and then come down a long steep hill and told me how to use it properly, the reason I asked that question is because of the tragic accident on Landsdown Hill in Bath (I know the driver shouldn’t of even gone down that hill as theres a weight limit) but I didn’t want to learn the hard way )

anyway I mainly made this for my own reference and too look back on when i’m older to see how far I’ve gone but if it helps give anyone a idea about the industry thats a bonus to me.
